A Japanese man recently shared the bizarre result of his attempt to recreate his deceased pet in 3D using a PC without enough computing power.

Earlier this month, a Japanese X (Twitter) user named “アラキレイヤー” shared a screenshot of a 3D computer model of his deceased pet dog, which quickly went viral due to its bizarre appearance. The brown teckel turned out weird, to say the least, with one side featuring bizarre spikes that the creator attributed to his computer’s insufficient processing power. The unusual result attracted a lot of attention on X, so アラキレイヤー decided to keep sharing his attempts on the social network. The unusual digital models got a total of 15 million views.

Some of the subsequent attempts turned out even more terrifying than the original, prompting hilarious comments from social media users.

“It looks like it was shot to death by arrows,” one person wrote.

“Don’t use hair effects if the budget is insufficient,” someone else warned.

アラキレイヤー said that he tried to pay tribute to his deceased pet, but didn’t realize his computer wasn’t up to the task. But the bizarre results proved to be a blessing in disguise, as they attracted more attention than he had ever dreamed.
