Television’s biggest awards night is well underway! Stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze kicked off the 77th Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Calif., on Sunday night, hosting the awards show for the first time in front of a star-studded audience.

So far, Netflix's psychological drama Adolescence has picked up the most awards with five wins. Following closely behind with three wins is Apple TV+'s newcomerThe Studio, a satirical comedy about Hollywood. Also new to the Emmy Awards scene is The Pitt, which made an impression with 13 Emmy nominations for its first year and has also scored a win.

Meanwhile, Apple TV+'s Severance has two wins so far and leads the pack with the most nominations at 27 nods. HBO Max’s The Penguin, which has 24 total nominations, has scored one win so far.

Bargatze himself, 46, was nominated for an Emmy for his 2024 Netflix stand-up special, Your Friend, Nate Bargatze.
