Hollywood loves a reboot — but there's one show Ray Romano would like left alone.

It seems like every week we're learning about a beloved series getting revived — Scrubs and Friday Night Light are just two of the latest — which often means the project is populated with other actors. Yahoo Entertainment spoke with Romano and his No Good Deed co-star Lisa Kudrow and asked if there's any show they've worked on that they don't want given the reboot treatment.

"I'm just a little protective of Everybody Loves Raymond," Romano said while promoting his new series No Good Deed. "Just because it was very personal to me."

"Well, yeah," Kudrow agreed. "You can't do that."

Romano starred in the hit sitcom from 1996 to 2005.

"I mean, it was based on my life and I was such a part of the creative side of it and all," he explained.

Romano said he doesn't mind when other countries, like India, adapt Everybody Loves Raymond, but he doesn't "want it rebooted in America."

"I actually like that it's rebooted there because it just shows how other cultures — we're all the same," Romano continued. "So it's good to see them appreciate it."

Kudrow, meanwhile, had a slightly different take. "I don't know, I think it's OK," the Friends star said. "Reboot whatever you want."

Romano and Kudrow play husband and wife in Netflix's new dark comedy. Despite shooting Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond "300 yards from each other" in the '90s, they only just met. Kudrow told Yahoo that working with Romano is "one of my dreams that I didn't think would happen."

"I'm not kidding. It's not hyperbole," she said. "I would watch him in something and say, 'See now that's who I'd love to work with, oh my God. He's so good.'"

No Good Deed starts streaming on Netflix Dec. 12.
