Maps by flight-tracking service Flightradar24 showed that airspace over Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Bahrain and Jordan was empty, early on February 28. Many global airlines canceled or rerouted their flights after the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran.
