The second round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament wrapped up Sunday, leaving only 16 teams left standing with a shot at the 2026 national title.
No. 1 seed Michigan took down No. 9 seed St. Louis 95-72 to secure its spot in the next round. In-state rival and No. 3 seed Michigan State followed suit with a 77-69 victory over No. 6 seed Louisville.
No. 1 overall seed Duke continued its march through the tournament with a dominant 81-58 victory over No. 9 seed TCU. No. 2 seed Houston flattened in-state foe and No. 10 seed Texas A&M 88-57 to move on, (11) Texas is the last double-digit seed left standing after a thrilling 74-68 victory over Gonzaga.
Speaking of thrillers, (4) Nebraska downed (5) Vanderbilt in an action-packed, back-and-forth affair, and No. 4 seed Arkansas stayed hot with a 94-88 win over No. 12 seed High Point.
