The Thunder are moving on in the 2026 NBA Playoffs after completing a sweep of the Lakers with a 115-110 victory on Monday night. Oklahoma City, the defending champions, won the first three games of the series in blowout fashion, but got a much tougher fight from the Lakers in Game 4. The Lakers led late in the fourth quarter, but the Thunder stormed back to advance to the Western Conference finals behind a 35-point performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
The Thunder, who are undefeated in the postseason, will meet the winner of the series between the Spurs and Timberwolves, which is tied at 2-2 after Minnesota won Game 4 on Sunday in a game that featured Victor Wembanyama's ejection in the second quarter. Earlier Monday, the Cavaliers used a historic 23-0 run to open the second half and top the Pistons in Game 4, tying the series at 2-2. The winner of that series will advance to the Eastern Conference finals to face the Knicks, who swept the 76ers.
